About Mike
With over 35 years of leadership experience, Mike has led teams in the military, government, nonprofit, and private sectors. In his 25 years in the B2B technology space, Mike led global teams in the fields of training, services, products, sales, and customer success. As such, he has a unique perspective on how the parts of a GTM team work together, and how they impact the customers.
On multiple occasions, the companies where Mike was a member of the leadership team have experienced successful exits, including: Vignette (acquired by OpenText), Autonomy (acquired by HP), SocialWare (acquired by ProofPoint), and, most recently, QAD (acquired by Thoma Bravo).
Mike is an accomplished and decorated leader, speaker, and advisor. To every role and engagement, Mike brings best practices from his work with thousands of customers across industries including financial services, manufacturing, media and entertainment, intelligence and defense, education, and more. He has coached thousands of professionals and leaders, and has led leadership training for a variety of audiences from teens to senior executives.
He believes strongly in giving back to his community through volunteer work and service. When he’s not sculpting or creating with his hands, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and biking. An extensive world traveler and history buff, Mike likes to spend time getting off the beaten path and finding secret places. He lives with his wife and daughter in Newburyport, Massachusetts , where they plan their next adventures.
